New TerraSpec 4 Line of Mineral Analyzers Speed Exploration and Optimize Mining

ASD is pleased to announce the release of the TerraSpec 4 line of portable mineral analyzers for optimization of mining production and faster mineral exploration. 
Already a mainstay instrument in the mining industry, the new rugged, portable TerraSpec 4 line includes faster data collection and improvement in spectrum quality in the most critical wavelengths for mineral analysis.
For exploration, the TerraSpec 4 Hi-Res spectrometer has a 6 nm resolution. The TerraSpec 4 Standard-Res mineral analyzer, with a 10 nm resolution, is perfect for ore analysis in production.
Both instruments produce cleaner, higher quality spectra. This increased spectrum clarity in the SWIR region (1001-2500 nm) more precisely identifies essential marker minerals, problem gangue minerals such as swelling clays, and computes other important metallurgical assets. Also, better declaration of samples with darker minerals, is now possible—something that has been historically difficult with reflectance-based measurements.
