A number of posters at this week's Mineral Exploration Roundup conference in Vancouver, BC featured PANalytical Boulder's ASD spectrometers including Kevin Meazell's poster titled "Porphyry Copper Exploration in the Hualapai Mountains, Northwest Arizona." Among other things, Meazell et. al. monitored white mica crystallinity using the ASD TerraSpec 4 mineral analyzer to gauge the temperature changes within the hydrothermal system so he could vector to the deposit faster.
