Here are just a few of the current exploration programs utilizing ASD's TerraSpec mineral analyzer:
Stacey Leichliter is a geometallurgist and has used near infrared instrumentation to characterize ore mineralogy at mine sites like AngloGold's Cripple Creek facility in Colorado, USA. In July, Stacey provided us with her thoughts on how the TerraSpec Halo applies to mine geologists.
Battle Mountain Gold's Lewis property, located in central Nevada USA, recently released results that combined airborne hyperspectral surveys with ground-based TerraSpec mineral analyzer surveys to identify known mineralized zones as well as delineate eight new target areas in August 2014.
Join us in Keystone, Colorado beginning on Saturday, September 27 for Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) 2014. The theme of this year's conference is "Building Exploration Capability for the 21st Century."
Join us on Wednesday, May 28 or Thursday, May 29 for an interactive webinar introducing our newest spectrometer, the ASD TerraSpec Halo mineral identifier. During this webinar, led by ASD co-founder and current PANalytical Boulder CTO Dr. Brian Curtiss, we’ll provide a brief introduction to the TerraSpec Halo and answer some common questions about the instrument. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how easy the TerraSpec Halo is to operate and how helpful it can be in a mineral exploration program.
We are continuing our expansion into the People's Republic of China with the addition of a second mining and industrial reseller, Beijing STS Instrument Co., Ltd. With the addition of STS, we've partnered with a total of three new resellers in China this year. Each of these partners will make it easier for our current customers and all potential customers to demo and purchase instruments throughout the People's Republic of China.
